TwitterとTwitter ToolsとTAGIRIツールバーで
僕もTwitterやってるんで、一応Twitter ToolsなるWordPressのプラグインを入れていた訳ですが、あまり使っていませんでした。正確には、ブログを更新したらTweetするオプションだけをオンにしてた状況です。が、それでもTweetする頻度よりも、ブログを更新する頻度の方が少ないんですよね。
そこで、1日のTweetsのまとめをブログの記事として投稿するオプションもオンにしてみました。カテゴリは「Journal」に設定。日によって多かったり、少なかったりと極端ですが、主に仕事帰りにちょこっとモバTwitterで携帯電話からちょこっとTweetsが多い気がします。そんなどうでも良いTweetsをブログの記事に載せるのもどうかと思っていましたが、今日は遅ればせながら「これがTwitterか！」な体験をしたので、やはりブログの記事として載せてみることにしました。ブログの方でそれを残しておきたいと言う気持ちです。

Interesting or as expected?
Out of all photos geotagged Japan, at Flickr, Kyoto is by far the most popular. It just says “lots”. Where as Tokyo is “42”.
Actually, hold on a minute. Photos tagged with Kyoto are 321,050, where as, photos tagged with Tokyo are950,079 …

日本語少し再開します
英語と日本語の多言語ブログを2006年8月に止めてから約10ヶ月経ちました。思うところあって、日本語で記事を書くのを少しだけ再開する事にしました。再開、と言ってもたぶんWordPress関係の事が主で、たま～に雑記になると思います。英語をこのブログのメインにしていく事に変わりありません。
Rebooting done
Took a while, but I’ve done the rebooting. Switched to the excellent dark theme. I did have a wire-flame for the new design, but didn’t quite had a time to actually making it into a theme. Perhaps for the next time.
Althoughhaving said that it is excellent, I was slightly disappointed that archive.php was not included. I prefer the archive to look like the archives, rather than the index. Also the tag.php doesn’t behave like I thought it does. I can’t quite remember how I did it last time.
Idecided to go back doing a bit of bilingual blogging. I was thinking to separate into two different blogs, and it is probably better so, for SEO wise. But its just that I don’t have time and spirits to maintain two blogs right now.
Themain language is still going to be English, and trying to blog about the Japanese culture. There are going to be some Japanese posts, most often to be on WordPress. These are tagged “日本語[ja]”.
Oh yeah, I have also upgraded to WP2.2. Currently without any problem, except that the SRC Clean Archives plugin doesn’t work.
And the link for downloading the theme “Warped” now works. You can reach it from the Extra page.

*7th May (AM) UPDATE* changed theme, soreted bit out of the Pages, categories, and tags. Few more touches needed, so still fiddling…
Long time since I last posted an article on this site.
But I decided its about the time I get my act together, and do somthing about it. So I am doing an overhaul of this blog, and will be rebooting before the Golden Week ends.
So, until then!
WordPress 2.1
So, while I have been a lazy ass, not keeping this blog up to date – both in terms of posts and plugin versions and stuffs – WordPress has gone up to ver 2.1. I spent this weekend checking out the server requirement and the plugin compatability. It all seems to be ok, so I upgraded, and indeed looks to be ok.
Though after fiddling and versioning up some of the plugins, some of the archive page has gone strange. I don’t know why yet, but I did some complicated things when I desinged the current theme, especially with the archive related templates. I can’t remenber right now, with what exactly what I did it then.
I am actually wanting to change the theme. A new start, rather. I have now lived in Tokyo alone, and working for nearly three month. Things are getting slowly into shapes – things that I do rountinely on daily basis, and things that do not. I have been thinking for a while of how to keep up with my “web activity”. Thats not only with this blog, but my other on the Vox, my RSS reader (Freshreader), del.icio.us, Hatena account, and so on. I have some new ideas, some ideas to scrap, all in a limited about of time I have.
I suppose the change in real life environment affects that much of your internet life too. Despite the fact that you can connect to your internet life anywhere in the World.
As for WordPress 2.1, its great! I decided to switch on the visual rich editor for a while. I am not sure if “uploading files” are improved that much or not. I think that was one of the most weaker area of WordPress by default, and looks like still is.

Woo Hoo !!
I have a net connection back, at a new home. I this past few weeks, I just realised how much things I rely on internet now. I can’t lookup and print out the maps, shop details, and so on. There are few people and the communities who I have contacts only on the net, and have to dissapear for a while. I don’t take a newspaper, so I feel I am isolated from the world or something, without the news via the internet. I can’t contact to my friends back in UK too.
I have been out of the web design and wordpress community, so its kind of freaky to find out what went out and what came in, in just short period of time. Oh, not to forget my RSS reader, with mountains of RSS feeds to get through!
Anyway, there are few things that I need to do, as now I am back online again. Yes, before blogging. So few more days until I get back.
And I feel there are more things to blog about, as I live away from home once again.
